Kicksta Review

Kicksta is a real Instagram automation service from $69 a month that logs into your account with your password and follows people in your niche, hoping some follow back. This Kicksta review reads its live pricing, Terms and help centre to show what it does to your account, what it really costs, and how to cancel cleanly.

Is Kicksta legit and safe?

Kicksta is legit: it is a San Diego company operating since 2015, with a live dashboard, published prices and Terms. It is not safe in the way a no-login service is, because it needs your Instagram password and runs automated follows from your account. Its own FAQ says Instagram offers no official way to do this, its Terms disclaim responsibility for any Instagram restrictions, and Trustpilot rates it 2.0 out of 5 from 626 reviews, mostly over cancellations and follower quality.

Kicksta Review: Quick Verdict

Kicksta can bring real, niche follow-backs that a follower package never will, but you pay for it with your password, a monthly bill and automation that Instagram can flag. It suits creators and small brands who accept that trade and will watch their account closely. Anyone who cannot risk a locked account or a hard-to-stop subscription should look elsewhere.

Our bottom line
Kicksta
kicksta.co · Instagram growth automation

A real, long-running automation tool whose sales pages promise more safety than its Terms do.

Kicksta follows hundreds of people a day from your account, likes posts of those who follow back, and unfollows after a few days. Its help centre also describes a "Boost Network" that adds untargeted followers instantly. Pricing is clear, the trial needs a card, multi-month plans are non-refundable, and the Terms give three different cancellation deadlines.

Kicksta Score Breakdown

Kicksta rates "Fair" on targeting, speed and support, "Mixed" on follower quality and retention, and "Limited" on guarantees and value, because its method can reach real people in your niche, while its password requirement, refund rules and cancellation record weigh against it.

What people say

See What People Think About Kicksta Reviews

What do Reddit and Quora users say about Kicksta?

Reddit users who used Kicksta recently describe slow but real niche growth, while others say the first followers were fake profiles with a handful of posts, and the friendliest Quora answers are old explainers rather than buyer reports.

What AI says

What AI Says About Kicksta

Google's AI, ChatGPT and Grok all describe Kicksta as automated, targeted Instagram engagement rather than a follower package, and two of the three urge caution. Google's AI is the most critical about Instagram's rules, ChatGPT gets the current price and trial right, and Grok describes the method well but quotes a follower range we could not find.

Google AI answer saying Kicksta differs from Buzzoid or Twicsy but carries major compliance and performance risks

Google AI

Asked: "What do you think about Kicksta?"
Be highly cautious

"Kicksta is fundamentally different from services like Buzzoid or Twicsy, but it still carries major compliance and performance risks."

  • Says Kicksta likes 1 to 2 photos from followers of your targets; that was the older method. Today it follows and unfollows, liking posts only after a follow-back.
  • Says Instagram prohibits third-party automation; Kicksta's own FAQ concedes Instagram has no official way to do what it does.
  • Cites password resets and action blocks; Trustpilot reviews describe automation flags, a forced password change and lockouts, and we found no first-hand shadowban report. A source label is blurred by BSTB.
ChatGPT answer calling Kicksta an automated growth service from $69 a month and advising caution before paying

ChatGPT

Asked: "What do you think about Kicksta?"
Be cautious

"Kicksta is more of an automated Instagram growth service than a simple follower-selling website, but I would still be cautious before paying for it."

  • Its $69 a month price and seven-day, card-required trial match kicksta.co; yearly billing drops to $39 a month but has no trial.
  • Says targeting is useful in principle but does not guarantee engagement, which fits Kicksta's own "no exact numbers" wording.
  • Notes Reddit complaints about suspicious profiles, like the replies shown above.

Grok

Asked: "What do you think about Kicksta?"
Describes the service

"Kicksta is an established Instagram growth service that positions itself in the "organic / AI-powered" category, similar to Growthoid but more automation-focused."

  • Its follow-then-unfollow description matches Kicksta's help centre.
  • "Real devices and proxies" matches Kicksta's claim of a dedicated phone and unique proxy per client.
  • Its "800 to 1,500+ followers per month" appears nowhere on kicksta.co today, which promises no number.
  • Compares it to Growthoid, whose site now redirects to a different store.

Overview

What Is Kicksta?

Kicksta is an Instagram growth automation service at kicksta.co that logs into your account, follows people who follow accounts or hashtags you choose, likes posts of those who follow back, and unfollows them a few days later.

It began in San Diego in 2015 as "Kickstagram". Its Terms name Galvin and Mathews Trade LLC, 715 J St., 306, San Diego, CA, which carries the surnames of founders Ronan Galvin and Casey Mathews. The site footer reads "CMT", which nothing on the site explains. The Terms were last updated on October 31, 2023 and contain no governing-law clause.

Kicksta claims "47,500+ paying customers" on its homepage and "40K+" on its reviews page. Unlike follower sellers, it allows business and agency use and runs a white-label program for agencies.

Kicksta Services

Kicksta sells Instagram growth automation on two plans, Growth and Advanced, built around follow and unfollow targeting. Its help centre and agency page add three things the pricing page does not explain well: "accelerated growth" pods, a "Boost Network" of untargeted followers, and an agency white-label program.

Follows: what happens

Kicksta follows people who follow your targets or use your hashtags, from your account. Unfollows follow 2 to 4 days later unless you whitelist the account, and your following count is capped at 800 above its starting point by default.

Likes and DMs: what happens

When someone follows back, Kicksta likes 1 to 3 of their posts before unfollowing. Advanced can also send a welcome DM and add new followers to Close Friends.

Tools: what you see

Smart niche filters, allow and block lists, real-time analytics and a weekly "AI-powered" Instagram audit come with both plans. Advanced adds a gender filter.

The Boost Network sells followers in all but nameKicksta's help centre describes the Boost Network as followers added "instantly", "not exactly targeted", who "won't necessarily engage", and says the Growth plan "combines the Boost Network with Organic Growth". The pricing page does not mention it. Ask support in writing whether it is switched on for your account.

Pros and cons

Kicksta Pros and Cons

Kicksta's pros are real (a named company, targeted follow-backs, clear prices, business use allowed) and so are its cons (your password, automation Instagram can flag, strict refund rules, a poor Trustpilot record and an untargeted follower add-on).

Pros

  • Established: operating since 2015, with a San Diego company named in its Terms.
  • Targeted: follows people who follow accounts and hashtags you choose, so follow-backs can fit your niche.
  • Hands-off: Kicksta says it saves 20 to 40 hours a month of manual engagement.
  • Clear pricing: $69 or $129 a month, down to $39 or $79 on yearly billing.
  • Trial: 7 days on monthly and quarterly plans, extended if you see no growth.
  • Business use allowed: creators, small businesses and agencies are all welcome per its FAQ and Terms.
  • Documented cancellation: a dashboard cancel flow, added in late 2025.

Cons

  • Password required: Kicksta logs in as you, and its pages disagree on whether it stores the password.
  • Platform risk: automated follows and unfollows are what Instagram's limits target.
  • Refund rules: no money-back guarantee; multi-month plans are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation complaints: Trustpilot's most common theme; the Terms give 8, 24 and 48-hour deadlines.
  • Boost Network: untargeted followers described in the help centre, not on the pricing page.
  • Ratings gap: Trustpilot 2.0 and G2 2.8, against "4.67/5" on Kicksta's own page.
  • Chargeback penalty: a dispute means permanent blacklisting.
Net takeKicksta is closer to real growth than any follower package, because the people it reaches choose to follow you. Whether that is worth your password, $39 to $129 a month and some platform risk depends on how much your account is worth to you.
How it works

How Does Kicksta Work?

Kicksta works by logging into your Instagram account from its own phones and proxies and running targeted follow, like and unfollow actions every day: you choose the accounts and hashtags, it follows their audiences, and a share of those people follow you back.

Setup starts with a trial, your Instagram login and a list of targets, followed by a 24 to 72 hour warm-up. Kicksta says it slows down or pauses on risk signals, but publishes no daily action limits.

Illustration of the Kicksta setup using figures from its pricing page and help centre, Oct 11, 2026.

How to start Kicksta, step by step

Starting Kicksta takes seven steps, and the third step, handing over your Instagram password, is the one to think hardest about.

Step 1 happens in InstagramSteps 2 to 7 happen on kicksta.coResults over weeks
  1. Step 1 · In InstagramPrepare your profile

A clear bio and several strong posts, because people Kicksta follows will judge your profile before following back. Note your current follower count.

  2. Step 2 · On kicksta.coPick a plan and start the trial

Growth or Advanced, monthly, quarterly or yearly. Monthly and quarterly start with a 7-day trial; a card is required either way.

  3. Step 3 · On kicksta.coConnect with your password

Kicksta's FAQ says a password is required because Instagram has no official way for a service to engage for you. It says the password is encrypted.

  4. Step 4 · On kicksta.coAdd your targets

Up to 10 sources on Growth or 30 on Advanced: competitors, influencers and hashtags. Smaller niche accounts tend to bring closer matches.

  5. Step 5 · On kicksta.coWait out the warm-up

Kicksta ramps activity up slowly for 24 to 72 hours before running at full speed.

  6. Step 6 · AutomaticFollows, likes, unfollows

Hundreds of follows a day, likes on 1 to 3 posts of people who follow back, and unfollows after 2 to 4 days.

  7. Step 7 · On kicksta.coReview and adjust

Use the analytics and weekly audit to drop targets that bring the wrong followers or none at all.

  8. Before renewalDecide: keep or cancel

Cancel from Subscriptions in the dashboard at least 48 hours before renewal. Disconnecting Instagram does not stop billing.

What happens after you start Kicksta?

After you start, Kicksta warms up for up to three days, brings first followers within a few days, and turns your trial into a paid plan on day seven unless you cancel.

Day 0Trial starts

Card saved, Instagram connected, targets set.

Hours 24 to 72Warm-up

Days 3 to 7First followers

Kicksta says the first follow-backs usually appear "within a few days".

Day 7Trial converts

The plan becomes paid automatically unless cancelled; no growth means an extended trial, per Kicksta.

Every 2 to 4 daysUnfollows

Every account Kicksta followed is unfollowed after 2 to 4 days, including those who followed back, unless whitelisted.

48h before renewalCancel window

The help centre's deadline for paying users; the Terms also mention 8 and 24 hours.

What should you check before starting Kicksta?

Check six things before starting Kicksta, because most complaints trace back to billing surprises or an account that was not ready.

  • Your Instagram password is unique and not used anywhere else
  • Two-factor authentication is on and you can approve logins
  • You have a calendar reminder two days before the trial ends
  • You know whether the Boost Network is active on your plan
  • You are not running any other growth tool at the same time
  • You have screenshotted your follower and following counts

Which Kicksta plan should you choose?

Choose Growth monthly for a first try, and only move to Advanced or yearly once the trial and first month have shown real follow-backs.

Legitimacy

Is Kicksta Legit?

Yes, Kicksta is a legitimate business: it has operated since 2015, names a company and San Diego address in its Terms, publishes its prices, and runs a working dashboard. But its marketing and its fine print disagree on passwords, ban risk and follower quality, and its independent ratings sit far below the ones it shows on its own site.

Safety

Is Kicksta Safe?

Kicksta is high risk for your login, moderate risk for your money and a real risk for your Instagram account, because it needs your password, bills automatically with strict refund rules, and runs automated actions that Instagram does not officially allow and that some users say triggered security checks.

Login riskHigh

Your Instagram password is shared and used from Kicksta's devices.

Payment riskModerate

Trials auto-convert; multi-month plans are non-refundable.

Account / policy riskReal

Automated follows can trigger action blocks or login checks.

Is your Instagram password safe with Kicksta?

Your Instagram password leaves your control with Kicksta, which says it encrypts it but needs it to act as you.

Its pages disagree: the FAQ says a password is required and stored encrypted, while the how-it-works page says "no passwords stored". There is no official Instagram login flow. Use a unique password, keep two-factor authentication on, and change it when you stop.

Is your payment information safe?

Your card is safe enough to use, but Kicksta's billing rules leave little room once you are charged.

The trial converts to paid automatically, yearly and multi-month plans are non-refundable, and the Terms say any chargeback means immediate cancellation and permanent blacklisting. Kicksta says it reimburses unexpected charges made while a cancellation is being processed.

What do Instagram's rules say about tools like Kicksta?

Instagram's terms bar accessing accounts through unauthorised automated means and sharing your login, and Meta's policies treat mass automated follows and likes as inauthentic behaviour.

Kicksta's own FAQ says Instagram has no official way for a service to engage on your behalf, and its Terms say Kicksta is not responsible for any restrictions Instagram applies.

Using Kicksta is generally a platform-rules issue rather than a legal one, and Kicksta's Terms allow business use.

The FTC's 2024 rule targets buying fake social media indicators to misrepresent influence commercially. Follow-backs from real people are not fake indicators, but untargeted followers from an add-on like the Boost Network could raise that question for a business. This is general information, not legal advice.

What can happen to your account after using Kicksta?

Login alerts and automation flags are the account problems Kicksta users report; follower drops after quitting and suspensions are less common but documented.

Reported

Login alerts and flags

Trustpilot reviewers describe Instagram flagging automation, suspicious-login alerts and being logged out, and one changed their password as a result.

Reported

Followers lost

Reviewers report losing 600+ followers, and one says 80% after quitting, despite Kicksta calling gained followers "permanent".

Worst case

Suspension

Some reviewers report suspensions. Kicksta publishes its own guide to recovering a temporarily or indefinitely disabled account.

How can you lower the risk if you use Kicksta?

You lower the risk by protecting your login, keeping the pace modest and watching your account every week.

  • Use a unique password and keep two-factor authentication on
  • Do not run any other growth tool at the same time
  • Target small niche accounts, not giant influencers
  • Ask support to confirm the Boost Network is off
  • Pause Kicksta if Instagram shows any warning
"Removes the risk of bans" is not what the Terms sayKicksta's help centre says its method "removes the risk of bans or action blocks", and its FAQ calls a ban "highly unlikely". Its Terms say it is not responsible for any restrictions Instagram applies, and it publishes a recovery guide for suspended accounts. The Terms govern your account.
Results and quality

Does Kicksta Work? Are Kicksta Followers Real?

Kicksta can work: people who follow back after its follows are real accounts that chose to follow you, so growth is slower but more relevant than bought followers. How much it works is uncertain. Kicksta promises no numbers, the only hands-on test is from 2019, and some users report fake-looking followers; Kicksta's untargeted Boost Network is one possible source.

What does Kicksta promise, and what does the evidence show?

Kicksta's targeting promise holds up in principle, while its safety, permanence and "real people" promises are qualified by its own Terms and help centre or by its users.

Does Kicksta work for your goal?

Kicksta works best for steady niche growth on a profile with good content, and works poorly for fast numbers, engagement on demand or accounts you cannot risk.

What affects your Kicksta results?

Five factors decide how Kicksta performs for you: your targets, your content, your niche size, Instagram's checks and whether add-ons are mixed in.

Targets

Small niche accounts bring closer matches than giant influencers.

Your content

A 10% follow-back goal depends on a profile worth following.

Add-ons

How does Kicksta describe the followers it brings?

Kicksta describes three kinds of follower growth with very different quality, so "real followers" depends on which one is running on your account.

Kicksta Free Trial, Cancellation and Refund Policy

Kicksta offers a 7-day free trial on monthly and quarterly plans, lets you cancel from the dashboard before renewal, and reviews refunds case by case, but yearly and other multi-month plans are non-refundable, the trial converts to paid automatically, and the Terms give three different cancellation deadlines.

Kicksta free trial

Kicksta's free trial lasts 7 days, includes Advanced features and needs a card.

  • Monthly and quarterly plans only
  • Converts to paid unless cancelled
  • Extended if no growth, per Kicksta
  • Yearly plans start paid

Kicksta cancellation

You cancel Kicksta in the dashboard under Subscriptions, then confirm in three steps.

  • Help centre: 48 hours before renewal
  • Terms also say 8 and 24 hours
  • Service runs to the end of the cycle
  • Disconnecting Instagram does not cancel

Kicksta refund policy

Kicksta reviews refund requests case by case and offers no money-back guarantee.

  • Full, partial or prorated, at its discretion
  • Yearly and multi-month plans: non-refundable
  • Lifetime Deal: generally non-refundable
  • Chargeback: permanent blacklisting

Compare

Kicksta vs Growthoid and Other Alternatives

Kicksta is the only service in this comparison that still sells targeted engagement rather than packages, which makes it slower and pricier than follower sellers but closer to real growth. The trade-offs are your password and a monthly subscription.

How does Kicksta compare with organic Instagram growth?

Kicksta automates an organic tactic, following people in your niche, so the difference is who does it and at what pace: Kicksta does hundreds of follows a day with your password, while doing it yourself is slower but keeps your login and your account fully in your hands.

Who Should Consider Kicksta?

Kicksta suits creators, personal brands and small businesses with good content who want steady niche follower growth, accept sharing their Instagram password, and will watch their account and billing closely.

Is Kicksta right for you? A five-question check

Kicksta is a reasonable choice only if you answer yes to all five questions below; a single no points to a better alternative.

1
Are you comfortable giving a service your Instagram password?

Yes: continue. No: Kicksta cannot work without it.

2
Is your profile already worth following?

Yes: continue. No: follow-backs depend on your content.

3
Can you live with an action block or login check?

Yes: continue. No: automation carries that risk.

4
Will you track the trial end and renewal dates?

Yes: continue. No: most complaints are about billing.

5
Is gradual growth fine for your goal?

Yes: Kicksta may fit. No: it is slow by design.

What are good and bad uses of Kicksta?

Good uses of Kicksta are niche, patient and closely watched; bad uses involve accounts you cannot risk or numbers you need fast.

Reasonable uses

  • A one-month trial on a creator account with strong posts
  • Reaching followers of small, closely matched niche accounts
  • Early social proof for a new brand, then switching to content

Bad uses

  • Accounts that hold your income or ad account
  • Paying yearly before you know it works for you
  • Running it alongside another growth tool
  • Expecting a set number of followers each month

Is Kicksta a fit for creators, influencers, new accounts, businesses and agencies?

Kicksta fits creators and small businesses best, suits new accounts poorly, and is a cautious fit for influencers and agencies.

Good fit

Creators

A creator with a clear niche and good posts can turn Kicksta's follows into relevant follow-backs. Keep targets small and specific, and keep posting so new followers stay.

Not yet

New accounts

A profile with a few posts gives people little reason to follow back. Build a base of strong content first, because follow-backs depend on your profile.

Use with care

Influencers

Follow and unfollow activity is visible to the people you follow, and brands audit growth spikes. An established influencer has more to lose from a lock-out.

Allowed

Businesses

Kicksta's Terms allow business use. Local and niche brands can reach nearby or interested audiences, though ads reach them without sharing a password.

With client consent

Agencies

The white-label plan costs $1.80 per account per day. Get written client consent before sharing their passwords with any automation tool.

Who Should Avoid Kicksta?

Anyone who will not share their Instagram password, cannot risk an action block, or needs fast results should avoid Kicksta and use ads, creators or content tools instead.

  • Brands with ad accounts at stake: use an agency or Instagram ads
  • Influencers under audit: follow and unfollow patterns are easy to spot
  • Anyone needing guaranteed numbers: Kicksta promises none
  • Accounts already warned by Instagram: more automation raises risk
  • Anyone who forgets renewals: trials convert and refunds are limited
  • Anyone needing leads or sales: try creator partnerships
Final verdict

Kicksta Review: Final Verdict

Kicksta is a real, established automation service that can bring genuine niche follow-backs, but it asks for your Instagram password, runs activity Instagram does not officially allow, and makes refunds hard. It is worth a monthly trial only for creators and small brands who accept those trade-offs and watch their account closely.

Its strengths are real: a named company since 2015, clear pricing, targeting by account and hashtag, and a cancel button in the dashboard. Its weaknesses are just as real: a Trustpilot score of 2.0 from 626 reviews, marketing that promises more safety than its Terms, an untargeted follower add-on missing from the pricing page, and multi-month plans you cannot get back.

Kicksta in one line each

  • Legit? Yes; operating since 2015
  • Safe? Needs your password; not risk-free
  • Works? Slowly, if your content is strong
  • Refunds? Case by case; multi-month none
  • Worth it? As a careful monthly trial only

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

These 20 answers cover whether Kicksta is legit, safe or a scam, whether it needs your password, and its pricing, free trial, cancelling, refunds, follower quality and best alternatives, based on pages read on October 11, 2026.

Is Kicksta legit?

Yes, Kicksta is a legitimate Instagram growth service that has operated since 2015 and names Galvin and Mathews Trade LLC in San Diego in its Terms.

It has a working dashboard, public pricing and documented cancellation. Its independent ratings are poor, though: Trustpilot shows 2.0 out of 5 from 626 reviews and G2 2.8 from 21.

  • Company: Galvin and Mathews Trade LLC, 715 J St., San Diego.
  • Founded: 2015, as Kickstagram.
  • Ratings: Trustpilot 2.0/5; G2 2.8/5.
  • Not verified: "47,500+ paying customers" and "4.67/5".

Legit means it is a real business; it does not mean it is risk-free.

Is Kicksta safe?

Kicksta is not fully safe, because it needs your Instagram password and runs automated follows that Instagram does not officially allow.

Kicksta says it uses a dedicated phone and proxy per client and slows down on risk signals. Its Terms still say it is not responsible for any restrictions Instagram applies, and users report login alerts and automation flags.

  • Login: Password required.
  • Payment: Trials convert; multi-month plans non-refundable.
  • Account: Action blocks, login checks or suspensions are possible.

Use a unique password, keep two-factor authentication on, and watch your account weekly.

Is Kicksta a scam?

No, Kicksta is not a scam: it delivers the automation it sells, but many customers are unhappy with billing, cancelling and follower quality.

Trustpilot's 626 reviews average 2.0 out of 5, with 41% one-star. The most common complaints are charges after trials or cancelling and followers that looked fake.

  • Delivers: Follows, likes and unfollows from your account.
  • Complaints: Billing, cancellation and bot-like followers.
  • Praise: Steady, targeted growth and responsive support.

Read the billing rules before your trial; that is where most problems start.

Does Kicksta need my Instagram password?

Yes, Kicksta needs your Instagram password; its FAQ says Instagram offers no official way for a service to engage on your behalf without it.

Kicksta says the password is encrypted and hidden from its team. Its how-it-works page says "no passwords stored", which contradicts the FAQ's "stores it encrypted".

  • Why: Kicksta logs in and acts as you.
  • Protection: Encryption, per Kicksta; no official Instagram login flow.
  • After cancelling: Change your password.

Never reuse that password anywhere else.

How does Kicksta work?

Kicksta works by following people who follow the accounts or hashtags you choose, liking posts of those who follow back, and unfollowing after a few days.

It runs "hundreds of follows per day" from a dedicated phone and proxy, aiming for a 10% follow-back, after a 24 to 72 hour warm-up.

  • Targets: 10 sources on Growth, 30 on Advanced.
  • Likes: 1 to 3 posts of people who follow back.
  • Unfollows: After 2 to 4 days, unless whitelisted.
  • Add-ons: Growth pods and a Boost Network.

It automates a tactic you could run by hand, at a much larger scale.

How much does Kicksta cost?

Kicksta costs $69 a month for Growth and $129 a month for Advanced, or $39 and $79 a month on yearly billing, as read on October 11, 2026.

Quarterly billing costs $49 and $99 a month ($147 and $297 a quarter). Yearly is billed $468 or $948 up front. Agencies pay $1.80 per account per day.

  • Growth: $69 monthly, $49 quarterly, $39 yearly.
  • Advanced: $129 monthly, $99 quarterly, $79 yearly.
  • Not public: Boost Network and Lifetime Deal prices.

A year of Growth costs $468 to $828, depending on how you pay.

Does Kicksta have a free trial?

Yes, Kicksta has a 7-day free trial on monthly and quarterly plans, but it needs a card and turns into a paid plan unless you cancel.

The trial includes every Advanced feature, and Kicksta says it extends the trial if you see no growth in the first seven days. Yearly plans have no trial.

  • Length: 7 days.
  • Card: Required.
  • After: Converts to paid automatically.

Set a reminder two days before it ends.

How do I cancel Kicksta?

You cancel Kicksta in the dashboard: go to Subscriptions, select the account, click Cancel Subscription and complete the three-step confirmation.

The help centre says to do it at least 48 hours before renewal; the Terms also mention 8 and 24 hours. Disconnecting Instagram does not stop billing.

  • Where: Dashboard, Subscriptions.
  • When: At least 48 hours before renewal.
  • Proof: Screenshot the cancellation confirmation.

The dashboard cancel button arrived in late 2025; before that, many users struggled to cancel.

Does Kicksta offer refunds?

Kicksta reviews refund requests case by case and has no money-back guarantee; yearly and other multi-month plans are non-refundable.

Refunds can be full, partial or prorated at Kicksta's discretion. It says it will reimburse any unexpected charge made while a cancellation is being processed.

  • Monthly plans: Case by case.
  • Quarterly and yearly: Non-refundable.
  • Chargeback: Immediate cancellation and permanent blacklisting.

Start monthly so you are never locked into a long refund-free term.

Are Kicksta followers real?

Followers who follow back after Kicksta's follows are real accounts that chose to follow you, but not every new follower comes that way.

Kicksta's help centre describes pods of opted-in users and a Boost Network of "not exactly targeted" followers. Reddit users report six-post profiles during trials, while others report real niche followers.

  • Organic: Real follow-backs from your targets' audiences.
  • Pods: Opted-in users trading engagement.
  • Boost Network: Untargeted followers, added instantly.

Ask support which methods are active on your account.

What is Kicksta's Boost Network?

The Boost Network is a Kicksta option, described in its help centre, that increases your follower count instantly with followers who are "not exactly targeted".

The help centre says it can add up to 50,000 followers a month and that the Growth plan combines it with organic growth. The pricing page does not mention it, and its price is not public.

  • Speed: Instant.
  • Quality: "Won't necessarily engage".
  • Price: Not shown publicly.

If you want only targeted growth, ask Kicksta to confirm it is off.

How many followers can I get with Kicksta?

Kicksta does not promise a number: its pages say exact follower numbers cannot be guaranteed and growth is gradual by design.

It aims for a 10% follow-back on hundreds of daily follows. Its testimonials claim gains of several thousand followers over months, but those are unverified, and a 2019 test found 82 net new followers in a month.

  • Kicksta: No guaranteed figure.
  • Testimonials: Thousands over 4 to 6 months, unverified.
  • Independent test: +82 in one month (2019, older product).

Judge it on your own first month, not on testimonials.

Can Kicksta get my Instagram account banned?

A ban is possible: automated follows can trigger action blocks, login checks or, in some cases, suspensions.

Kicksta's FAQ calls a ban "highly unlikely", yet its Terms disclaim responsibility for any restrictions, and it publishes its own guide to recovering a suspended account.

  • Reported: Automation flags, login alerts, lockouts.
  • Possible: Temporary action blocks.
  • Worst case: Account suspension.

Pause Kicksta at the first Instagram warning.

What happens to my followers if I cancel Kicksta?

Kicksta says the followers you gain are permanent, but some reviewers report losing many after stopping.

People who followed you back by choice usually stay if your content keeps them. Reviewers report losing 600+ followers, and one says 80% after quitting, which may reflect boosted or pod followers.

  • Kicksta: Followers are "permanent".
  • Reviewers: Large drops reported after quitting.
  • Tip: Note your counts before you start and after you stop.

Followers who came for your content are the ones who stay.

Who owns Kicksta?

Kicksta's Terms name Galvin and Mathews Trade LLC, 715 J St., 306, San Diego, CA, which carries the surnames of founders Ronan Galvin and Casey Mathews.

The brand started as Kickstagram in 2015. The site footer says "CMT", which the site does not explain, and we found no state registration record for the LLC.

  • Company: Galvin and Mathews Trade LLC.
  • Founders: Ronan Galvin and Casey Mathews, per a 2017 interview.
  • Unexplained: "CMT" in the footer.

A named company and address put Kicksta ahead of most growth services on disclosure.

How do I contact Kicksta support?

You contact Kicksta through its 24/7 live chat, by email at [email protected], or through its help centre; there is no phone line for individual plans.

Agencies get priority email, Telegram, WhatsApp Business and one-to-one calls. Kicksta replies to most negative Trustpilot reviews, typically within two weeks.

  • Live chat: 24/7.
  • Email: [email protected].
  • Help centre: Articles on actions, cancelling and recovery.

For cancellations, use the dashboard and screenshot the confirmation.

Can businesses and agencies use Kicksta?

Yes, Kicksta allows business use and offers a white-label agency plan at $1.80 per account per day, unlike most follower sellers.

Agencies need at least 10 accounts and get a branded dashboard where clients "will not see the Kicksta name". A 14-day trial with up to 5 accounts is offered.

  • Businesses: Allowed in the Terms.
  • Agencies: White-label, API access.
  • Caution: Get client consent before sharing their passwords.

Business use is allowed by Kicksta, but Instagram's automation rules still apply.

What is the difference between Kicksta Growth and Advanced?

Kicksta Advanced costs $129 a month against $69 for Growth and adds more targets, a gender filter, welcome DMs and a Close Friends adder.

Growth allows up to 10 targeting sources and Advanced up to 30. Both include like after follow, story views, a weekly audit, analytics and 24/7 live chat.

  • Growth: 10 sources, $69 a month.
  • Advanced: 30 sources, $129 a month.
  • Advanced extras: Gender filter, welcome DM, Close Friends.

Start on Growth; upgrade only if you run out of good targets.

Is Kicksta worth it?

Kicksta is worth a monthly trial only for creators and small brands with strong content who accept sharing their password and some account risk.

For everyone else, $69 a month buys more reliable reach through Instagram ads, a creator partnership or content tools that keep your login private.

  • Worth trying: A monthly Growth plan on a niche creator account.
  • Not worth it: Accounts you cannot risk, or yearly plans before testing.
  • Hidden cost: Password exposure and limited refunds.

Never pay for a year until a month has proved it works for you.

What are the best Kicksta alternatives?

The best Kicksta alternatives are a social media agency for done-for-you growth, Instagram ads for real reach, creator partnerships for trust, and scheduling tools for low-cost organic growth.

If you only want a higher count fast, follower sellers such as Likes.io or StormLikes sell packages without a password, with their own platform risks. Growthoid, a similar service, now redirects to a different store.

  • Done for you: A vetted agency.
  • Real reach: Instagram boosted posts and ads.
  • Brand trust: Influencer and UGC partnerships.
  • Budget growth: Scheduling and AI content tools.

Choose by whether you are willing to share your password.
