YouTube Money Calculator
Estimate AdSense earnings from views. RPM is what you actually keep per 1,000 views, after YouTube's share, so the maths is simply views × RPM ÷ 1,000.
Estimated per month

Estimates only. Q4 (Oct–Dec) RPMs typically run well above the rest of the year, and January is usually the lowest.
How it's calculated
Earnings = Views ÷ 1,000 × RPM × audience factor × monetized share
- RPM vs CPM: CPM is what advertisers pay per 1,000 ad impressions. RPM is what you receive per 1,000 views, after YouTube's cut (creators keep 55% of long-form ad revenue and 45% of their allocated Shorts revenue) and including views that showed no ad.
- Shorts pay from a shared pool, so Shorts RPMs are a small fraction of long-form RPMs.
- Niche ranges are illustrative starting points, not measured data. Your own Analytics RPM is always more accurate.
