CAC Calculator
Customer acquisition cost is everything you spend to win customers, divided by the customers you won. Add revenue and churn to see whether that cost pays back.

LTV : CAC
How it's calculated
CAC = (Marketing + Sales + Tools) ÷ New customers
LTV = Revenue per month × Gross margin ÷ Monthly churn
Payback (months) = CAC ÷ (Revenue per month × Gross margin)
- A 3:1 LTV:CAC ratio is the common SaaS rule of thumb. Below 1:1 you lose money on every customer. Far above 5:1 may mean you're under-investing in growth.
- Payback under 12 months is widely treated as healthy for SMB-focused SaaS.
- "Blended" CAC (all customers, including organic) looks better than "paid" CAC. Track both.
