Is Upleap Legit?
Upleap is a real service with published plans, a dashboard, live chat and an operator, SocialGrowth LLC FZ in Dubai, named in its Terms.
Our Upleap review finds a working Instagram automation subscription from $39 a month, or $19 billed yearly, whose Terms require your Instagram username and password. It follows, unfollows and likes on your behalf, offers a 7-day free trial and lets you cancel only through support. Trustpilot reviews split evenly between five stars and one star.
Upleap is a legit, operating subscription service, but it is not safe for your account by Instagram's rules, because it logs in with your password and automates follows.
Upleap is a real service with published plans, a dashboard, live chat and an operator, SocialGrowth LLC FZ in Dubai, named in its Terms.
Upleap needs your Instagram username and password, its Terms say, although its homepage and pricing page never mention it.
Upleap runs follow/unfollow and auto-like automation from your account, which Instagram restricts, and its Terms take no responsibility for any restrictions.
Upleap followers are mostly real people who follow back, but some reviewers report bot-like accounts, and its Terms guarantee neither quantity nor quality.
Upleap reviews refund requests "on a case-by-case basis", so a refund is possible but never promised, and On-Demand Followers are non-refundable.
Upleap is rarely worth it: the trial is free, but the price is your Instagram login and the automation risk that comes with it.
Upleap scores best on customer support, with live chat and replies to half its negative reviews, and weakest on account safety and cancellation, where its Terms set the risks. Here is each factor in one line.
Upleap gains followers through follow-backs from targeted accounts, but Trustpilot reviewers say "ALL of my followers are bots" and report no interaction.
Upleap estimates 600 to 1,600+ followers a month by plan, yet its Terms say results are "not guaranteed to You in any way".
Upleap requires your Instagram username and password in its Terms and runs follow/unfollow automation that Instagram restricts.
Upleap trials turn into paid plans automatically, and you can cancel only through support at least 24 hours before billing.
Upleap offers live chat and email at [email protected] and replies to half its negative Trustpilot reviews, though some buyers report slow answers.
Upleap costs $19 to $64 a month on annual billing or $39 to $119 monthly, with refunds left to its discretion.

Our bottom line
Upleap
upleap.com · Managed Instagram growth subscription
A real growth service with a free trial, whose Terms ask for more trust than its marketing admits.
Upleap says it "automatically interacts with targeted Instagram users on your behalf", using follow/unfollow, auto-likes and welcome DMs. Its Terms, operated by SocialGrowth LLC FZ in Dubai as named there, say "We require the Customer's username and password" and that refunds "are reviewed on a case-by-case basis".
Upleap pricing starts at $39 a month for Basic, $69 for Standard and $119 for Pro, or $229, $409 and $769 a year on annual billing.
Read on upleap.com/pricing on Oct 16, 2026. The page shows two figures per plan without labels and a "Monthly Annual 50% off!" toggle; the lower figures match the annual totals divided by 12. Follower estimates are Upleap's own and its Terms say results are not guaranteed. Check the billing period at checkout.

Check these six things before starting an Upleap trial, because most complaints trace back to logins, cancelling and follower quality.
Upleap reviews are split: a Reddit thread calls it a scam that takes your login, Quora mixes praise with answers about Upwork, and Gemini and Grok both urge caution.

Scroll sideways for every screenshot. These are individual opinions we could not verify; usernames, avatars, another seller's name and a review site's name are blurred. Two Quora answers are about Upwork, not Upleap: Quora shows them under the Upleap question, so we include them for context only. Both AI assistants were asked about "Unleap", a common misspelling, and answered about Upleap.
This full Upleap review checks plans, pricing, Terms, the free trial, safety and alternatives against Upleap's own pages, Instagram's rules and buyer reports from October 2026. Jump to the part you need.
Upleap is an Instagram growth subscription at upleap.com that logs into your account and automatically engages with targeted users, instead of selling a fixed number of followers.
Upleap's homepage headline promises "Real Instagram Followers With Targeted Organic Growth", and its explanation is direct: "Upleap automatically interacts with targeted Instagram users on your behalf." You choose hashtags, similar accounts and locations, and its tools follow, like and message people who match, hoping some follow you back. Its feature list includes "Follow/Unfollow Automation", "Auto-like after Follow", "Welcome DM Automation" and a "Growth pods network".
Its Terms of Service say "Upleap is operated by SocialGrowth LLC FZ, located at Business Center 1, M Floor, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E.", and the site footer repeats the company name. We could not check that registration independently. The Terms were last updated on November 30, 2022 and contain no governing-law clause. Upleap gives no founding year or customer count, only "We're Loved By Thousands"; its Trustpilot profile has been claimed since March 2018.
The pricing page covers Instagram only. The Terms mention "Instagram/TikTok" accounts, but we found no TikTok plan to buy.

Unleap is a common misspelling of Upleap, not a separate service: searches for an "Unleap" Instagram growth seller on October 16, 2026 returned only Upleap results. When the client asked Gemini and Grok about "Unleap", Gemini linked it to Upleap and Grok answered "Assuming you mean Upleap". This review covers upleap.com.
Upleap plans come in three tiers, Basic, Standard and Pro, which differ mainly in price and follower estimate, from 600 to 1,600+ a month.
| Feature | Basic | Standard | Pro |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly billing | $39 a month | $69 a month | $119 a month |
| Annual billing | $229 a year (about $19 a month) | $409 a year (about $34) | $769 a year (about $64) |
| Follower estimate | 600 to 800+ a month | 800 to 1,200+ a month | 1,200 to 1,600+ a month |
| Pitch | "watch your account grow on Autopilot" | "personal accounts, businesses and influencers" | "boost your engagement rates by 10x" |
| Free trial | 7 days | 7 days | 7 days |
Read on upleap.com/pricing on October 16, 2026. Follower estimates and the "10x" line are Upleap's own claims.
In the pricing text we could read, all three plans list the same features, including automation, targeting filters and "24/7 Live support".
Upleap On-Demand Followers are an add-on, described only in its Terms, that "provides an immediate increase in follower count through active accounts". Those followers are "not based on targeted engagement criteria", the add-on is only for paying subscribers, and "all sales are final and non-refundable once delivery has commenced". Any chargeback leads to cancellation of your subscription and "permanent account blacklisting". No price is listed. In practice it is a bought-follower product bolted onto an automation service.
Upleap pricing is $39, $69 or $119 a month on monthly billing, or $229, $409 and $769 charged once a year on annual billing. The annual totals work out to about $19, $34 and $64 a month.
The pricing page shows two unlabelled numbers per plan under a "Monthly Annual 50% off!" toggle. The lower figures match the annual totals divided by 12, so the higher figures are the monthly rates. Confirm the charge at checkout.
The plan buttons say "7-day Free Trial", the page title says "10-day FREE Trial", and the Terms say the plan converts to a paid subscription after 7 days. If you only want to compare one-off follower prices, see our list of the best sites to buy Instagram followers.
Upleap Basic is the better value on paper, because Pro costs three times as much per month for about twice the estimated followers. At the midpoints, Basic works out to about $5.57 per 100 estimated followers on monthly billing, and Pro to about $8.50. Both estimates are Upleap's own and are "not guaranteed", so start on Basic.
Upleap works by signing into your Instagram account with your username and password and running follow, unfollow, like and welcome-DM automation aimed at the targets you choose. Its FAQ says new followers arrive after "warmup mode", "which takes about three days".
Upleap uses automation openly, which makes it more honest than rivals that claim "no bots" while doing the same. Its homepage lists "Follow/Unfollow Automation", "Auto-like after Follow" and "Welcome DM Automation", and says it "automatically interacts with targeted Instagram users on your behalf". Its Terms add that it "will not post or comment on any accounts" for you. A Quora snippet and Grok describe a dedicated account manager, but today's pricing text does not mention one. The practical point: every follow and like it makes comes from your account, so Instagram sees your account doing it.

Upleap is legit, with a named operator, published prices and live support, but password-based automation and strict cancelling rules earn it a Mixed rating. Calling it a scam goes too far, but the risks are real.
What we could verify on October 16, 2026: live prices and a 7-day trial, Terms naming SocialGrowth LLC FZ in Dubai, a privacy policy naming Stripe and PayPal among its vendors, an email address and a blog still publishing in October 2026. What we could not verify: the "up to 300% faster growth" claim, the "10x" engagement line, the follower estimates, the company registration, or any account manager.
The loudest scam claim comes from a Reddit post in r/Instagram, about three years old, titled "Upleap - SCAM!", saying "They will steal your login information and lock you out as soon as possible." We found no evidence of account theft, but handing your login to a third party is exactly what Upleap's Terms require. Our Growthoid review shows how a similar managed service can vanish, which is another reason not to prepay a year.
Upleap's Trustpilot reviews split evenly: on October 16, 2026, its upleap.com profile showed a TrustScore of 2.9 from 150 reviews, with 45% five-star and 45% one-star. Only 2 reviews were counted in the last 12 months, and Upleap replied to 50% of negative reviews. One-star reviews describe bot followers ("ALL of my followers are bots", March 2026), cancellations that did not go through and slow replies. Five-star reviews praise onboarding help and "the opportunity to regularly communicate with a live person". Trustpilot lists the business location as Spain, which does not match the Dubai address in the Terms.

Upleap and Kicksta look alike because both are password-based Instagram automation subscriptions with 7-day trials, targeting by hashtag and account, and follow/unfollow tools. One Trustpilot reviewer called Upleap "the same service as Kicksta, just rebranded", but Kicksta's Terms name a different company, and we found no document linking the two. The useful difference is cancelling: Kicksta lets you cancel from the dashboard, while Upleap requires a support request 24 hours ahead.

Upleap is not safe for your Instagram account by Instagram's own rules, because its Terms require your password and its tools automate follows, likes and DMs from your profile. Its Terms say it is not responsible for any restrictions Instagram applies.
| Risk | Level | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your login | High | The Terms require your username and password; the privacy policy says it collects "passwords, password hints". Upleap says the password is "securely encrypted" and not shared. |
| Your account | High | Follow/unfollow, auto-like and welcome-DM automation are the behaviours Instagram limits or removes. |
| Your money | Medium | A free trial limits the first charge, but it converts automatically, cancelling needs support, and refunds are case by case. |
Instagram's Terms of Use bar accessing accounts through unauthorised automated means and sharing your login, and its Community Guidelines ask users not to be "artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares". Upleap's Terms hand that risk to you: "It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to comply with Instagram/TikTok rules and guidelines".
For businesses in the US, the FTC's 2024 rule bars buying fake social media indicators, such as followers, to misrepresent influence for a commercial purpose. Upleap's untargeted On-Demand Followers add-on is closest to that line. This is general information, not legal advice.
Your password is the real price. The trial costs nothing, but Upleap's Terms say "We require the Customer's username and password for the social media Account". If you share it, use two-factor login, a unique password, and change it the day you stop.
Upleap works for some buyers, who describe steady growth and helpful support, but others report bot-like followers with no interaction, and its Terms guarantee neither quantity nor quality.
Follow-backs are real accounts, which is why some reviewers are happy; quality control is the problem. A March 2026 Trustpilot review says "ALL of my followers are bots", an April 2025 review says the followers "didn't provide any interaction", and Upleap replied to one complaint that the trial ran in a non-targeted mode. A four-year-old Quora answer praises Upleap but cites a "$3 per 100 followers" plan and a money-back guarantee its site does not offer today. These are individual reports we could not verify.

Upleap followers who never like or comment lower your engagement rate, because the same interactions are divided by a bigger audience. On-Demand Followers are untargeted by design. Measure your rate on day 0 and again at the end of the trial with our Instagram engagement rate calculator.
Upleap does not say whether you keep followers after cancelling, and follow-backs earned through follow/unfollow tactics can unfollow once your account stops engaging with them. Instagram purges can also remove inauthentic follows. Upleap offers no refill, because it does not sell fixed counts.
Upleap's refund policy is discretionary: its Terms say refunds "are reviewed on a case-by-case basis", the free trial converts automatically, and you can cancel only through support.
| Policy | What Upleap says | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Free trial | "7-day Free Trial" on buttons; Terms: converts to "an active, paid subscription" unless cancelled. | The page title says 10 days. Plan around 7. |
| Cancelling | "must contact the Support Team" by live chat or email, "at least 24 hours before" the next cycle. | "direct cancellation through the client dashboard is not available". |
| Proof | You need "an official confirmation email" or a live chat confirmation. | Without one, a cancellation may not count. |
| Refunds | "case-by-case"; may be "full, partial, or prorated". | No refund promise on the pricing page. |
| On-Demand Followers | "final and non-refundable once delivery has commenced". | Chargebacks mean "permanent account blacklisting". |
The pricing FAQ says "You can cancel any time - no questions asked", but the Terms add the 24-hour deadline, the support-only route and written confirmation. Trustpilot reviewers describe cancellations that "did not work" and support they called "unresponsive"; Upleap replied in each case that the cancellation was processed or that no charge was made. Both can be true when timing is tight, so cancel early.

Upleap customer support runs through live chat in the dashboard or on its website and email at [email protected], and every plan lists "24/7 Live support".
Upleap lists no phone number, and its email appears only in its Terms and privacy policy. On Trustpilot, praise for support is the most common five-star theme, while one-star reviewers describe slow or missing replies, and Upleap once cited "a temporary spike in support volume". Because cancelling depends entirely on support, save every chat transcript.
Upleap's pros and cons pit a free trial, clear prices and a named operator against a required Instagram password, rule-breaking automation and support-only cancelling. This Upleap review weighs each point against its own pages and Terms, so you can judge the trade-off for your account.
Upleap's biggest advantage is a free 7-day trial, which lets you see the dashboard and the first followers before any charge.
Upleap's main drawback is that it needs your Instagram password to run automation that Instagram's rules prohibit, while its Terms leave every resulting risk with you.
Upleap's pros outweigh the cons only for a throwaway or hobby account you are willing to risk, tested on the free trial and cancelled in writing by day 5. For any account you depend on, sharing your password with an automation service is a bigger cost than any monthly fee.
The best Upleap alternatives are Kicksta for the same model with dashboard cancelling, Path Social or Plixi for growth without sharing a password, and Buzzoid or Twicsy for one-off packages. Every seller below sells Instagram growth, so Instagram's rules on inauthentic followers apply to all of them.
| Service | Entry price | How it works | Refund or refill as stated | BSTB rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Upleap | $39 a month ($19 yearly) | Automation, password required | Refunds case by case; free trial | Mixed |
| Kicksta | $69 a month (from $39 yearly) | Automation, password required | Case by case; multi-month non-refundable | Mixed |
| Path Social | $29 a month, billed yearly | Promotion subscription, handle only | Refunds within 7 days, in its Terms | Mixed |
| Plixi | $29 a month, billed yearly | Managed growth, says no password | 7-day guarantee on Pro and Experts; none in Terms | Mixed |
| Growthoid | Was from $49 a month | Redirects to SidesMedia | Not buyable | Poor |
| Buzzoid | $3.49 / 100 followers | Packages, username only | 30-day refill (stated three ways) | Fair |
| Twicsy | $3.49 / 100 followers | Packages, username only | Refills on Active and VIP tiers only | Fair |
Prices and policies read from each seller's own site in October 2026 for our individual reviews; Upleap and Plixi read on October 16, 2026, Path Social on October 15, 2026. Self-reported and subject to change.

Kicksta is the closest Upleap alternative by model: password-based Instagram automation that follows people who follow accounts or hashtags you choose, from $69 a month or $39 yearly. Unlike Upleap, it lets you cancel from the dashboard. Best for: buyers set on automation who want easier cancelling.
Read our Kicksta review
Path Social sells Instagram promotion from $29 a month billed yearly and asks only for your handle, not your password. It writes a 7-day refund window into its Terms, though its Trustpilot rating is unavailable. Best for: keeping your login private, with refund terms in writing.
Path Social review coming soon
Plixi sells AI-targeted Instagram growth from $29 a month billed yearly and says it needs "no passwords", but never explains how it connects to your account. Its refund promise sits only on Pro and Experts plan cards, not in its Terms. Best for: buyers who will not share a password and can live with yearly billing.
Plixi review coming soon
Growthoid was a managed Instagram growth service from $49 a month, but growthoid.com now redirects to SidesMedia, so it can no longer be bought. Our SidesMedia review covers the site it points to. Best for: nobody; a reminder not to prepay a year.
Read our Growthoid review
Buzzoid sells one-off Instagram packages, 100 followers for $3.49, with no subscription to cancel and no password. It states a 30-day refill, though in three different ways. Best for: buyers who want a fixed count without handing over a login.
Read our Buzzoid review
Twicsy also charges $3.49 for 100 Instagram followers, with named tiers and no password. Refills apply only to its Active and VIP tiers. Best for: buyers who want to pick a follower tier rather than trust an estimate.
Read our Twicsy reviewThe right Upleap alternative depends on whether you will share your password at all.
You can grow on Instagram naturally without Upleap by using Instagram ads, creator partnerships, agencies and AI scheduling tools, none of which need your password. These options reach the same targeted audiences, but inside Instagram's rules and with results you can inspect.

Instagram ads put your Reels and posts in front of real people by interest, location and audience, the rule-compliant version of Upleap's hashtag and location targeting, with full reporting. A small daily budget can be paused any day. Best for: businesses and launches.
Compare ad and analytics tools
Creator partnerships let you pick a creator, see their audience and agree on a disclosed collab, reaching the "similar accounts" Upleap targets without automating anything. Vet each partner, because some inflate their own numbers. Best for: beauty, fitness and other niche accounts.
Browse verified creators
Social media agencies plan, create and publish content and report on reach and saves, usually through Meta's own business tools rather than your password. Retainers cost more than Upleap. Best for: busy teams and brands.
See vetted agencies
AI and scheduling tools help you plan, caption and post consistently, often from a free plan, which is what Instagram's recommendations reward. Best for: solo creators on a budget.
Explore AI toolsOrganic Instagram growth comes from content people save and share, posted on a schedule they can rely on.
Upleap is faster to set up than organic growth, but it borrows your account to do follow/unfollow work that Instagram penalises, while organic growth builds an audience that chose you. Organic growth costs time instead of $39 to $119 a month, keeps your login private and keeps working after you stop.
Upleap suits only owners of hobby or test accounts who accept sharing their password, want to try automation on the free trial and will cancel in writing before day 7. Anyone whose account matters to their income, brand or sponsorships should look at ads or creator partnerships instead.
Upleap is a reasonable experiment only if you answer yes to all five questions below, and a single no points to a natural growth option instead.
Upleap is tolerable for hobby creators on the trial, risky for new accounts and a poor fit for influencers whose engagement is audited.
Yes, Upleap pitches its Standard plan at "businesses and influencers", but brands should be careful. Sharing a brand account's password is a security risk, and the FTC's 2024 rule bars commercial use of fake social media indicators. Instagram ads and disclosed creator partnerships give businesses audience data they can show a client. This is general information, not legal advice.
Anyone who cannot afford to lose access to their account, or whose income depends on authentic engagement, should avoid Upleap.
Our Upleap review rates it Mixed: a working, openly automated Instagram growth subscription with a free trial, but its Terms require your password and make cancelling and refunds hard. For brands, influencers and anyone who depends on their account, the evidence points elsewhere.
Upleap publishes clear prices, offers a 7-day free trial, names its operator in its Terms and is honest about automation. But that automation runs with your username and password, performs follow/unfollow activity Instagram restricts, and comes with Terms that disclaim results and account restrictions, convert the trial automatically, require cancelling through support and leave refunds to its discretion. Trustpilot reviews split 45% five-star and 45% one-star, with bot-follower complaints on one side and support praise on the other. If you try it, use a throwaway or hobby account, protect it with two-factor login, cancel in writing by day 5 and change your password afterwards. Our rating: Mixed.
We reviewed Upleap by reading its homepage, pricing, Terms, privacy, contact, reviews and blog pages on October 16, 2026; its FAQ page could not be loaded. We then checked them against Instagram's rules, the FTC rule, its Trustpilot profile, Reddit, Quora, two AI assistants and BSTB's own reviews of competing sellers. Follower quality judgments rely on Upleap's own wording and independent buyer reports. Read how we test every provider.
These 20 Upleap FAQs cover legitimacy, safety, the password rule, pricing, the free trial, refunds, cancelling, support and alternatives, from pages read on October 16, 2026.
Upleap is a legit, operating Instagram growth subscription with published plans, a free trial and a named operator, but password-based automation and strict cancellation rules earn it a Mixed rating.
Legit means it exists and delivers a service, not that the service is low risk. Its Terms are clear about what it needs from you, which is more than many rivals manage. See how we review sellers.
Read the Terms before starting the trial, because the password and cancellation rules live there, not on the pricing page.
Upleap is not a fake storefront, because it runs a real dashboard, trial and support team, but some users call it a scam over login fears, bot followers and cancelling.
The loudest scam claim is a three-year-old Reddit post saying Upleap will "steal your login information and lock you out". We found no evidence that happened, but its Terms do require your password. Compare it with other BSTB seller reviews.
Treat a split rating as a warning to test small, not as proof either way.
Upleap is not safe by Instagram's standards: it needs your username and password and runs follow/unfollow automation, both of which Instagram's rules restrict.
Its own Terms put the risk on you: "The Company is not responsible for any restrictions on the Customer's Account that Instagram/TikTok may enforce." Kicksta works the same way; our Kicksta review explains the automation risk in detail.
If you try it, turn on two-factor login first and change your password the day you stop.
Yes, Upleap needs your Instagram password: its Terms say "We require the Customer's username and password for the social media Account", although its homepage and pricing page never mention it.
The Terms add that the password is "securely encrypted" and not shared with third parties, and the privacy policy says it collects "passwords, password hints, and similar security information". Sellers like Buzzoid ask only for a username; see our Buzzoid review.
Never reuse your Instagram password anywhere else if you hand it to a growth service.
Upleap followers are mostly real accounts that follow back after its automation engages with them, but some buyers report bot-like followers and no interaction.
Its Terms say follower quantity and quality are "not guaranteed to You in any way". Upleap replied to one complaint that the trial used a non-targeted mode. Check what your new followers do with our Instagram engagement rate calculator.
Open 15 to 20 new follower profiles during the trial; empty or follow-heavy accounts are a warning sign.
Upleap could get your account limited or banned, because Instagram restricts third-party logins and automated follows, and Upleap's Terms take no responsibility for any restrictions.
A permanent ban is not guaranteed, but action blocks, forced password resets and removed follows are the common outcomes for automation. Instagram has announced removals of inauthentic follows made through third-party apps.
Accounts that already had warnings or action blocks should not use any automation service.
Upleap costs $39 a month for Basic, $69 for Standard and $119 for Pro on monthly billing, or $229, $409 and $769 a year on annual billing.
The annual totals work out to about $19, $34 and $64 a month. The page shows both figures without labels, so the monthly reading is our inference from the yearly totals. Compare one-off prices on our list of the best sites to buy Instagram followers.
Check the billing period and total on the checkout screen before entering a card.
Upleap Basic, Standard and Pro differ mainly in price and follower estimate, from 600 to 800+ a month on Basic to 1,200 to 1,600+ on Pro.
In the pricing text we could read, all three plans list the same features. Grok says higher tiers add welcome DMs and gender filters, which we could not confirm on the page.
Start the trial on Basic; a higher plan only raises an estimate that is not guaranteed.
Yes, Upleap has a 7-day free trial, and its Terms say the plan "will automatically convert into an active, paid subscription" unless you cancel first.
The pricing page title says "10-day FREE Trial" while its buttons and Terms say 7 days, so plan around 7. Kicksta also runs a 7-day trial with a card; see our Kicksta review.
Set a reminder for day 5 and cancel in writing if you are not sure.
Upleap's refund policy is discretionary: its Terms say "Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis" and it may give a full, partial or prorated refund.
Nothing on the pricing page promises a refund, and On-Demand Followers are "final and non-refundable once delivery has commenced". A Trustpilot reviewer says a refund came only as a "one-time courtesy", per the company's reply.
Ask support for any refund decision in writing and keep the reply.
You cancel Upleap only by contacting its support team through live chat or email, at least 24 hours before the next billing date, because there is no cancel button in the dashboard.
Its Terms say you must obtain "an official confirmation email" or a live chat confirmation from an agent. Trustpilot reviewers describe cancellations that did not go through, which the company disputed in replies.
Screenshot the chat confirmation and check your card statement the following month.
Upleap estimates 600 to 800+ followers a month on Basic, 800 to 1,200+ on Standard and 1,200 to 1,600+ on Pro, after about three days of warmup.
Its Terms say these numbers are "not guaranteed to You in any way", and its homepage claim of "up to 300% faster growth" has no stated basis. Work out what each follower really costs with our cost per retained follower calculator.
Count followers on day 0, day 7 and day 30, and note how many still engage.
Yes, Upleap uses automation: its homepage says it "automatically interacts with targeted Instagram users on your behalf" and lists follow/unfollow, auto-like and welcome DM automation.
Its Terms add that it will "not post or comment on any accounts" for you. A Quora snippet and Grok describe an account manager, which today's pricing text does not mention.
Automation acts from your account, so every follow it makes is attributed to you.
Upleap On-Demand Followers are an add-on for active subscribers that gives "an immediate increase in follower count", with followers "not based on targeted engagement criteria".
This is a bought-follower product inside a growth subscription. Its Terms make it non-refundable once delivery starts and do not list a price. For one-off follower packages, compare the best sites to buy Instagram followers.
Skip the add-on if engagement matters, because untargeted followers lower your engagement rate.
Upleap customer support runs through live chat in the dashboard or on the website and email at [email protected]; its plans promise "24/7 Live support".
No phone number or support address appears on its contact page. Trustpilot reviews are split between praise for live chat and complaints about slow replies. You can also contact BSTB if our facts look out of date.
Use email or chat transcripts for cancellations so you have a dated record.
Upleap's Terms name SocialGrowth LLC FZ as its operator, at Business Center 1, M Floor, Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, U.A.E.; the site footer repeats the company name.
We could not verify the registration independently, and the Terms give no governing-law clause. Trustpilot lists the business location as Spain, which does not match the Terms.
Pay by card so you keep your bank's dispute rights, but know Upleap's Terms penalise chargebacks.
Unleap is almost always a misspelling of Upleap: we found no separate Instagram growth service called Unleap, and searches for it return Upleap results.
When asked about "Unleap", Gemini linked it to Upleap and Grok answered "Assuming you mean Upleap". Everything in this review refers to upleap.com.
Type the address yourself so you never land on a lookalike login page.
The best Upleap alternatives are Kicksta for the same model with dashboard cancelling, Path Social or Plixi to avoid sharing a password, and Buzzoid or Twicsy for no subscription.
Every option sells Instagram growth, so Instagram's rules still apply. Our Buzzoid review covers the most common no-login option.
Avoid Growthoid: its site now redirects to SidesMedia and it can no longer be bought.
Upleap is cheaper than Kicksta, $39 against $69 a month, but Kicksta lets you cancel from the dashboard, while Upleap requires a support request 24 hours ahead.
Both need your Instagram password, both run follow/unfollow automation and both offer 7-day trials. One Trustpilot reviewer called Upleap "the same service as Kicksta, just rebranded", but their Terms name different companies. See our Kicksta review.
If you want this model at all, pick the one whose cancellation you trust more.
Upleap is rarely worth it: you trade your Instagram password and account safety for 600 to 1,600 estimated followers a month that its Terms do not guarantee.
The free trial makes a short test cheap in money but not in risk. If you need followers who engage, ads and creator collabs give you proof you can measure, for example with our Instagram engagement rate calculator.
If you test it, cancel through chat on day 5 and keep the confirmation.
