Is Plixi Legit?
Plixi is a real, working service with plans, a dashboard and email support, but it names no legal entity and Trustpilot has suspended its rating over fake reviews.
Our Plixi review finds a working Instagram growth subscription costing $29 to $60 a month billed yearly, whose Terms contain no refund clause at all. It says it uses "no bots" and needs "no passwords", yet its own menu sells an "Instagram Bot". Buyers report fake-looking followers, and Trustpilot has suspended its rating.
Plixi is a legit, operating subscription service, but it is not proven safe: its pages contradict each other on bots, and its Terms promise no refunds.
Plixi is a real, working service with plans, a dashboard and email support, but it names no legal entity and Trustpilot has suspended its rating over fake reviews.
Plixi says "no passwords" on its homepage, but none of its pages explain how it connects to your Instagram account or what access it keeps.
Plixi claims full compliance with Instagram's terms, yet one of its own pages describes "like and comment bots" performing "thousands of micro-interactions" on your page.
Plixi says its followers are "real" and targeted, but Reddit and Trustpilot buyers describe low-follower, follow-heavy accounts that vanish after cancelling. Neither side can be verified.
Plixi promises a refund only on Pro and Experts if growth fails within 7 days, and its Terms of Service contain no refund clause at all.
Plixi is rarely worth it: a yearly plan costs $348 to $720 up front for estimates it cannot prove, with refund rights that live only on a pricing card.
Plixi scores best on results over time, since some buyers report a steady follower inflow, and weakest on follower quality and billing, where complaints cluster. Here is each factor in one line.
Plixi promises "real" targeted followers, but buyers describe accounts with about 20 followers following 2,000 and fake-looking profiles.
Plixi estimates 1,000 to 5,000+ followers a month by plan, and some buyers report steady growth, while others say followers vanished after cancelling.
Plixi says "no passwords", yet sells an "Instagram Bot" and never explains how it connects to your Instagram account.
Plixi charges recurring fees "without requiring your prior approval", and its Terms contain no refund clause at all.
Plixi offers email and says it has 24/7 live chat, but Trustpilot reviewers describe unanswered emails and templated replies.
Plixi costs $29 to $60 a month billed yearly, so $348 to $720 up front, for follower estimates it cannot show are real.
Plixi is a live Instagram growth subscription from $29 a month billed yearly, but its claims contradict each other, its Terms hold no refund clause and buyers report fake-looking followers. Test it monthly, if at all.
Our bottom line
Plixi
plixi.com · Managed Instagram growth subscription
A real, busy growth service whose marketing promises more than its Terms commit to.
Plixi says it grows accounts with "paid advertising, nano-interactions, niche data clusters and real-human activity" and "no bots". Its Pro and Experts cards promise "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund", but its Terms of Service, last updated January 24, 2025, contain no refund clause.
Plixi pricing starts at $29 a month for Basic, $41 for Pro and $60 for Experts, all billed yearly, so you pay $348, $492 or $720 up front.
Read on plixi.com/pricing on Oct 16, 2026. plixi.ai lists monthly billing at $49 (Basic) and $69 (Pro). A "50% OFF Annual plans ANNIVERSARY Flash Sale" banner showed a countdown. Check the total and billing period at checkout.

Check these six things before subscribing to Plixi, because most complaints trace back to billing, refunds and follower quality.
Plixi reviews split sharply: Quora shows short praise from one Space, Reddit threads call it a scam with fake-looking followers, and ChatGPT, Grok and Gemini all urge caution.

Scroll sideways for every screenshot. These are individual opinions we could not verify; usernames, avatars and other sellers' names are blurred. The Reddit poster's name is hidden because it matches another growth seller's brand, so read that thread with that in mind. The positive Quora posts all sit in one Space.

Plixi is a managed Instagram growth subscription at plixi.com that targets audiences for your account, instead of selling a fixed number of followers.
Plixi describes itself as "Organic AI-Growth & Automation". You pay a monthly or yearly fee, add the Instagram account you want to grow, and set targets such as hashtags, usernames, locations, gender, language and age. Its menu lists Auto Growth, Analytics, Experts, Cloud and AI-Match, a "swipe" feature for training its targeting. "Tiktok Services" appears in the navigation, but only Instagram plans are priced.
The company is named only as "Plixi" in its Terms of Service, "registered at 169 Madison Ave #2434, New York, NY 10016", while the site footer says "Made with ❤️ in San Francisco, CA". No legal entity type, registration number or governing-law clause appears. The Terms were added on December 19, 2016 and last updated on January 24, 2025.
Plixi's homepage says it is "Trusted by 35,000+ Instagrammers, agencies & businesses", elsewhere claims "55,000+ Happy Users", and shows a "Rated 4.91/5" badge. We could not confirm these figures, so read them as company claims.

Plixi.com is the official site, carrying the Terms, privacy policy, pricing and contact pages. Plixi.ai serves a similar homepage that links to plixi.com for pricing and to app.plixi.ai for login, but shows different monthly prices and has its own Trustpilot profile. An older, unrelated photo-sharing app also used the Plixi name around 2011, and Gemini's claim that Plixi was "formerly known as Growthsilo" could not be confirmed.
Plixi plans come in three tiers, Basic, Pro and Experts, and each higher tier raises the follower estimate and adds targeting or a dedicated manager.
| Feature | Basic | Pro | Experts |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price, billed yearly | $29 a month ($348) | $41 a month ($492) | $60 a month ($720) |
| Figure shown beside it | $59 | $83 | $120 |
| Follower estimate | 1,000 to 1,500 a month | 2,500 to 3,500+ a month | 3,500 to 5,000+ a month |
| Extras | Real-time analytics, "LA and London team support" | AI and computer-vision targeting, Plixi Cloud, competitor targeting, "priority 24/7 support" | Dedicated Instagram manager, extra profile and content optimisation |
| 7-day growth guarantee | Not listed | Listed | Listed |
Read on plixi.com/pricing on October 16, 2026. Follower estimates are Plixi's own figures.
The Experts card says "Your full-time social media team for 5% the cost", but another section of the same page says "Plixi Experts is available for +$300/mo. with any plan". Ask support which price applies before choosing Experts.
Plixi pricing on plixi.com is $29, $41 or $60 a month on yearly billing, charged at once as $348, $492 or $720. Each price sits beside a higher figure ($59, $83 and $120) under a "Yearly save 50%" toggle.
The strikethrough styling did not survive in the text we could read, but the higher figures appear to be the monthly-billing rates. The plixi.ai homepage, read the same day, lists monthly billing at $49 for Basic and $69 for Pro instead, and Plixi's comparison pages say plans start "From $49/month". Confirm the exact figure on the checkout screen.
A "50% OFF Annual plans ANNIVERSARY Flash Sale" banner with a countdown pushes buyers toward the yearly plan, the option that costs most if the service disappoints. If you only want to compare one-off follower prices, see our list of the best sites to buy Instagram followers.
Plixi Pro costs $12 a month more than Basic on yearly billing, roughly doubles the follower estimate and is the cheapest plan with a written growth guarantee. At the midpoints, Basic works out to about $2.32 per 100 estimated followers a month and Pro to about $1.37, but both estimates are Plixi's own.
Plixi works by taking your Instagram account and targeting settings, then running what it calls "paid advertising, nano-interactions, niche data clusters and real-human activity" to attract followers. It says setup "takes just 60-seconds".
Plixi says it uses no bots, yet its menu labels Auto Growth an "Instagram Bot", so its own pages give two answers. The homepage headline says "No bots, no fake followers, no passwords", and its ethical commitment page says it never uses "any kind of software, bot or app to perform actions on Instagram's platform". But its Kicksta comparison page says "Plixi's Instagram like and comment bots perform thousands of micro-interactions on your Instagram page daily". The ethical page also says interactions are "pre-approved by our clients" and describes "manually reaching target users". Nobody outside Plixi can see which description is accurate, so ask in writing before you connect an account.

Plixi is legit as a real, operating subscription business with a dashboard, Terms and email support, but contradictory claims and heavy complaints earn it a Mixed rating. Calling it a scam goes too far for a service that delivers some growth, but its marketing promises more than its Terms commit to.
What we could verify on October 16, 2026: live plan prices, Terms with a New York address, a privacy policy, an email address, a status page and a cancel-anytime statement. What we could not verify: the customer figures, the 4.91 rating badge, the "patent-pending" (elsewhere "patented") technology, the follower estimates, or how Plixi connects to Instagram. Brand logos and press-style quotes appear without saying they are customers.
Plixi sits in the same category as Growthoid, a managed growth subscription whose site now redirects to another seller. Our Growthoid review shows how quickly these services change hands, another reason not to prepay a year.
Plixi's Trustpilot rating for plixi.com is unavailable because Trustpilot says the profile breached its guidelines and that it removed "a number of fake reviews" for the company. On October 16, 2026, the profile showed 386 reviews, 86% of them one-star and 8% five-star. Recent one-star reviews from August and September 2026 describe fake followers, charges after cancelling, refused refunds and unanswered emails. A separate plixi.ai profile shows a 4.5 TrustScore from 125 reviews, mostly describing slow, gradual growth. Plixi replies to most reviews with templated messages pointing to [email protected].

Plixi and Path Social show the same yearly prices, $29 and $41 a month, with the same "$0.97 Per Day" and "$1.37 Per Day" lines. Both pricing pages say "Guaranteed Results or It's Free!", both plan cards say "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund", and both ran a 50% "Anniversary Flash Sale" on annual plans when BSTB read them on October 15 and 16, 2026. No document we found shows shared ownership, and Plixi runs a page criticising Path Social. The practical point: the copy is near-identical, but the Terms are not.

Plixi is not proven safe for your Instagram account, because it never explains how it connects to it and its own pages describe bots acting on your profile. If its followers are real people reached by advertising, the risk is low; if they are not, Instagram's rules apply.
| Risk | Level | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your login | Unclear | Plixi says "no passwords", but its pages never explain how your Instagram account is connected or what access it keeps. |
| Your money | High | Yearly plans are charged up front, the Terms hold no refund clause, and Basic lists no guarantee. |
| Your account | Medium to high | "Like and comment bots" are the behaviour Instagram limits, and buyers report fake-looking followers that purges remove. |
Plixi's pricing FAQ says it is "fully compliant with Instagram's terms of services" and that data is "encrypted and hashed at all times", but its privacy policy never says what Instagram data it collects. Instagram's Community Guidelines ask users not to be "artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares", and Instagram has announced removals of inauthentic likes, follows and comments made through third-party apps.
For businesses in the US, the FTC's 2024 rule bars buying fake social media indicators, such as followers, to misrepresent influence for a commercial purpose. If some new followers are fake, that could matter for a brand account. This is general information, not legal advice.
"Completely safe" is a sales claim. Plixi's homepage promises safety, but its Terms say you use the service at your sole risk and disclaim all warranties. The Terms are what you agree to when you pay.
Plixi works for some buyers, who report steady follower growth, but many others describe fake-looking, silent followers who disappear once the subscription stops. Plixi's estimates are its own and nobody outside the company has audited them.
The reports pull in two directions. A Quora post in our screenshots says Plixi "finally gave me an edge", and plixi.ai Trustpilot reviews mostly describe slow, gradual gains. On Reddit, one user says new followers had "like 20 followers and 2000 following", another says they "disappeared soon after" cancelling, and a third says the dashboard credited Plixi with followers they earned themselves. These are individual reports we could not verify.

Plixi followers who never like or comment lower your engagement rate, because the same interactions are divided by a bigger audience. Brands check that ratio before paying creators. Measure your rate on day 0 and again after the first week with our Instagram engagement rate calculator, inside the guarantee window.
Plixi does not say whether you keep followers after cancelling, and one Reddit buyer says they "disappeared soon after" the plan ended. Followers can also drop if accounts are deleted or removed in an Instagram purge. Plixi offers no refill, because it does not sell fixed counts, so any losses are simply losses.
Plixi's refund policy exists only on its Pro and Experts plan cards, as a 7-day growth guarantee; its Terms of Service contain no refund clause and authorise recurring charges.
| Policy | What Plixi says | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Guarantee | "Guaranteed Results or It's Free!"; Pro and Experts: "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund." | Basic lists no guarantee, and "growth" is not defined. |
| Other promises | "100% Growth Guaranteed" (homepage); "14-Day Growth Guarantee" (a comparison page). | No conditions given for either. |
| Terms | No refund, chargeback or governing-law clause found. | Warranties disclaimed: "AS-IS AND AS-AVAILABLE". |
| Renewal | Consent to charges "on a recurring basis without requiring your prior approval". | A yearly plan can renew for a full year if you forget. |
| Cancelling | "You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing page on your Plixi dashboard." | Charges continue "until you notify us". Keep written proof. |
The missing refund clause is the most important fact in this Plixi review. A promise on a pricing card is weaker than a clause in the Terms you accept, and Plixi's three guarantee phrases (7 days, 14 days and "100%") disagree. Refunds do happen: one Reddit user got one after "4 or 5 emails", and a Trustpilot reply mentions a $431.00 refund. Other reviewers describe refusals and charges after asking to cancel.

Plixi customer support runs through [email protected], with a FAQ promising "live chat on 24/7", although the site's "Chat with Us" link opens an email to the same address.
Plixi lists no phone number. Pro adds "priority 24/7 support", Experts a dedicated account manager, and Basic mentions "LA and London team support", which we could not verify. On Trustpilot, reviewers describe unanswered emails and an AI assistant going "in circles", and Plixi's replies are mostly templated.
Plixi's pros and cons pit clear plan prices and a no-password promise against contradictory bot claims, a refund promise missing from its Terms and disputed follower quality. This Plixi review weighs each point against its own pages and Terms, so you can judge the trade-off for your account.
Plixi's biggest advantage is clear, published plan pricing with a written 7-day growth guarantee on Pro and Experts.
Plixi's main drawback is that its sales pages promise refunds, safety and "no bots", while its Terms promise none of them.
Plixi's pros outweigh the cons only for a single month of Pro, judged inside 7 days and cancelled in writing if the followers look wrong. On a yearly plan or on Basic, $348 or more is committed on day 0, and nothing in the Terms obliges Plixi to return it.
The best Plixi alternatives are Kicksta for visible targeting, Upleap for a free trial, Path Social for written refund terms, and Buzzoid or Twicsy for one-off packages without subscriptions. Every seller below sells Instagram growth, so Instagram's rules on inauthentic followers apply to all of them.
| Service | Entry price | How it works | Refund or refill as stated | BSTB rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Plixi | $29 a month, billed yearly | Managed growth, login method not explained | 7-day guarantee on Pro and Experts; none in Terms | Mixed |
| Kicksta | $69 a month (from $39 yearly) | Automation, password required | Case by case; multi-month non-refundable | Mixed |
| Path Social | $29 a month, billed yearly | Promotion subscription, handle only | Refunds within 7 days, in its Terms | Mixed |
| Upleap | $39 a month ($19 yearly) | Automated engagement, free trial | Cancel any time; no refund policy stated | Not yet rated |
| Growthoid | Was from $49 a month | Redirects to SidesMedia | Not buyable | Poor |
| Buzzoid | $3.49 / 100 followers | Packages, username only | 30-day refill (stated three ways) | Fair |
| Twicsy | $3.49 / 100 followers | Packages, username only | Refills on Active and VIP tiers only | Fair |
Prices and policies read from each seller's own site in October 2026 for our individual reviews; Plixi and Upleap read on October 16, 2026. Self-reported and subject to change.

Kicksta is the closest Plixi alternative by model: Instagram automation that targets accounts and hashtags you choose, from $69 a month or $39 yearly. It openly needs your password, and its monthly plans start with a card-backed trial. Best for: creators who want to see exactly how targeting works.
Read our Kicksta review
Path Social charges the same $29 and $41 yearly prices as Plixi and asks only for your handle. Unlike Plixi, it writes its 7-day refund window into its Terms, though its Trustpilot rating is also suspended. Best for: buyers who want refund terms in writing.
Path Social review coming soon
Upleap sells automated Instagram growth from $39 a month, or $19 a month billed yearly, and its plan buttons offer a 7-day free trial. Its pricing page does not say what login details it needs. Best for: testing a managed growth service before paying.
Upleap review coming soon
Growthoid was a managed Instagram growth service from $49 a month, but growthoid.com now redirects to SidesMedia, so it can no longer be bought. Our SidesMedia review covers the site it points to. Best for: nobody; a reminder not to prepay a year.
Read our Growthoid review
Buzzoid sells one-off Instagram packages, 100 followers for $3.49, with no subscription to cancel and no password. It states a 30-day refill, though in three different ways. Best for: buyers who want a fixed count without recurring billing.
Read our Buzzoid review
Twicsy also charges $3.49 for 100 Instagram followers, with named tiers and no password. Refills apply only to its Active and VIP tiers. Best for: buyers who want to pick a follower tier rather than trust an estimate.
Read our Twicsy reviewKicksta is more transparent than Plixi, because it says plainly that it needs your password and acts from your account. Plixi says "no passwords" and "no bots" but never explains its connection. Plixi is cheaper on yearly billing, $29 against $39 a month, while Kicksta offers a trial.
The right Plixi alternative depends on whether you want a subscription at all.
You can grow on Instagram naturally without Plixi by using Instagram ads, creator partnerships, agencies and AI scheduling tools, which reach real people you can see and measure. These options do openly what Plixi says it does, "paid advertising" and targeting, but you control and inspect every step.

Instagram ads put your Reels and posts in front of real people by interest, location and audience, inside Meta's rules, with full reporting on who saw them. A small daily budget can be paused any day, unlike a yearly plan. Best for: businesses and launches.
Compare ad and analytics tools
Creator partnerships let you pick a creator, see their audience and agree on a disclosed collab, the visible version of "influencer targeting". Vet each partner, because some inflate their own numbers. Best for: beauty, fitness and other niche accounts.
Browse verified creators
Social media agencies plan, create and publish content and report on reach and saves, the audited version of Plixi Experts' "dedicated Instagram manager". Retainers usually cost more than Plixi. Best for: busy teams and brands.
See vetted agencies
AI and scheduling tools help you plan, caption and post consistently, often from a free plan, which is what Instagram's recommendations reward. Best for: solo creators on a budget.
Explore AI toolsOrganic Instagram growth comes from content people save and share, posted on a schedule they can rely on.
Plixi is faster to set up than organic growth, but its followers are hard to inspect, while organic growth builds an audience you can see engage. Organic growth costs mostly time instead of $348 to $720 a year, and keeps working after you stop paying anyone.
Plixi suits only creators who want a short, monthly growth experiment on Pro, can judge new followers within 7 days and are ready to cancel in writing. Anyone who needs predictable results, cannot afford a prepaid year, or depends on engagement for sponsorships should look at ads or creator partnerships instead.
Plixi is a reasonable experiment only if you answer yes to all five questions below, and a single no points to a natural growth option instead.
Plixi is acceptable for hobby creators as a one-month test, risky for new accounts and a poor fit for influencers whose engagement is audited.
Yes, Plixi markets to "Instagrammers, agencies & businesses", but brands should be careful: follower quality is disputed, and the FTC's 2024 rule bars commercial use of fake social media indicators. Instagram ads and disclosed creator partnerships give businesses audience data they can show a client. This is general information, not legal advice.
Anyone who cannot afford to lose a year's fee, or whose income depends on authentic engagement, should avoid Plixi.
Our Plixi review rates it Mixed: a working Instagram growth subscription whose contradictory claims, missing refund clause and disputed follower quality make it a risky purchase. For brands, influencers and anyone who needs proof of real engagement, the evidence points elsewhere.
Plixi publishes clear plan prices, offers a 7-day growth guarantee on Pro and Experts, lets you cancel from the dashboard and says it never needs your password. But it never explains how it connects to Instagram, says "no bots" while selling an "Instagram Bot", has no refund clause in its Terms, shows different prices on its two domains, has a suspended Trustpilot rating with 86% one-star reviews, and buyers describe fake-looking followers that vanish after cancelling. If you try it, pick one month of Pro, measure inside 7 days and cancel in writing. Our rating: Mixed.
We reviewed Plixi by reading its own pages on plixi.com and plixi.ai on October 16, 2026. These were the homepage, pricing, Terms, privacy, contact, ethical commitment and two comparison pages; its FAQ page could not be loaded. We then checked them against Instagram's Community Guidelines, the FTC rule, two Trustpilot profiles, G2, Reddit, Quora, three AI assistants and BSTB's own reviews of competing sellers. Follower quality judgments rely on Plixi's own wording and independent buyer reports. Read how we test every provider.
These 20 Plixi FAQs cover whether it is legit, safe and worth it, plus pricing, refunds, cancelling, bots, support and alternatives, from pages read on October 16, 2026.
Plixi is a legit, operating Instagram growth subscription with live plans and support, but contradictory claims, a missing refund clause and heavy complaints earn it a Mixed rating.
Legit means it exists and takes orders, not that its claims hold up. Its customer counts and ratings badges cannot be checked from outside. See how we review sellers.
Read the Terms before paying, because the refund promise on the pricing page does not appear there.
Plixi is not a fake storefront, because it runs a working dashboard and support, but many buyers call it a scam over fake-looking followers, refused refunds and charges after cancelling.
Trustpilot says it removed a number of fake reviews for Plixi and suspended its rating. Compare it with other BSTB seller reviews before deciding.
Read the newest one-star and five-star reviews side by side before you trust either picture.
Plixi is not proven safe for your account: it claims compliance and no bots, but another of its pages describes "like and comment bots" acting on your profile.
Instagram's Community Guidelines ask users not to be "artificially collecting likes, followers, or shares", and Instagram has removed inauthentic follows from accounts using third-party apps before.
If you try it, use a strong unique password and two-factor login on Instagram, and watch for warnings.
Plixi says "no passwords" on its homepage, but none of the pages we could read explain how it connects to your Instagram account, so the answer stays unclear.
The only password clause in its Terms covers your Plixi account login, not Instagram. Its privacy policy does not say what Instagram data or credentials it collects or stores.
Never type your Instagram password into any page or message unless you know exactly where it goes.
Plixi says its followers are "real" and targeted, but several buyers report accounts with very few followers of their own, little engagement and drops after cancelling.
Neither side can be verified from outside. Plixi describes "paid advertising, nano-interactions, niche data clusters and real-human activity", without naming ad partners or showing audience data.
Open 15 to 20 new follower profiles in the first week; empty, private or follow-heavy accounts are a warning sign.
Plixi could put your account at risk if its interactions count as automation or its followers as inauthentic, because Instagram limits or removes both, though no ban is guaranteed.
Plixi says it is "fully compliant with Instagram's terms of services", but Instagram has never endorsed it, and Plixi's ethical page says it is "not affiliated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta or Google".
Accounts that already had action blocks or warnings should not test Plixi at all.
Plixi costs $29 a month for Basic, $41 for Pro and $60 for Experts, all billed yearly, so $348, $492 or $720 is charged up front.
Higher figures sit beside each price on plixi.com ($59, $83 and $120), while plixi.ai lists $49 and $69 for monthly billing. Compare one-off prices on our list of the best sites to buy Instagram followers.
Check the billing period and the total on the checkout screen before you enter a card.
Plixi Basic is the entry plan, Pro adds AI targeting, competitor targeting and a 7-day growth guarantee, and Experts adds a dedicated Instagram manager.
Each tier raises the follower estimate, but only Pro and Experts list the "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund" line, which matters if Basic disappoints.
If you test Plixi at all, Pro is the only plan that pairs a lower price with a written guarantee.
Plixi does not offer a free trial on its pricing page; it offers a "Preview Growth" tool and a live demo dashboard instead.
The nearest thing to a trial is the 7-day growth guarantee on Pro and Experts. Basic buyers get no stated safety net, so a cheap first month is still a real charge.
A demo dashboard shows the interface, not the quality of the followers you would get.
Plixi's only written refund promise is on its Pro and Experts cards, "Guaranteed growth within 7 days or we'll give you a refund"; its Terms contain no refund clause.
The homepage badge says "100% Growth Guaranteed" and a comparison page mentions a "14-Day Growth Guarantee", with no conditions given for either. One Reddit user got a monthly plan refunded after "4 or 5 emails".
Ask support for the refund conditions in writing before paying, and keep the reply.
Plixi says you can cancel at any time from the billing page in your Plixi dashboard, and its Terms say charges continue until you notify it of cancellation.
The Terms also say you consent to recurring charges "without requiring your prior approval". Trustpilot reviewers describe being charged after asking to cancel, so proof matters.
Check your card statement the following month to confirm no new charge went through.
Plixi does not say you will keep your followers after cancelling, and one Reddit buyer reports that followers "disappeared soon after" the subscription ended.
Plixi sells no refill, because it does not sell fixed follower counts. Track what stays with our cost per retained follower calculator.
Record your follower count on cancellation day and again two weeks later.
Plixi says growth starts "within the first 24 hours" and that it can take "up to 7 days to see the full potential", while setup takes about 60 seconds.
Those timings sit right on top of the 7-day guarantee window for Pro and Experts, so you have little time to judge follower quality before the guarantee period ends.
Judge the followers on days 3 to 6, not only the count.
Plixi estimates 1,000 to 1,500 followers a month on Basic, 2,500 to 3,500+ on Pro and 3,500 to 5,000+ on Experts, but results depend on niche and content.
Its homepage also claims "~4,500 New Followers per Month on Average" and its pricing FAQ says Pro members average "over 4,000". None of these figures are independently checked.
A count means little if the new accounts never engage, so measure engagement too.
Plixi says it uses "no bots", yet its own menu labels Auto Growth as an "Instagram Bot" and a comparison page describes "like and comment bots" working on your page.
Its ethical commitment page says it never uses "any kind of software, bot or app to perform actions on Instagram's platform". Both cannot be fully true.
Ask Plixi in writing which of these descriptions applies to your plan.
Plixi customer support runs through [email protected]; its FAQ promises 24/7 live chat, but the "Chat with Us" link opens an email to the same address.
No phone number or support street address is listed. Trustpilot reviewers describe unanswered emails and AI replies going "in circles". You can also contact BSTB if our facts look out of date.
Use email for refunds and cancellations so you have a dated record.
Plixi names no legal entity: its Terms place "Plixi" at 169 Madison Ave #2434, New York, while its footer says it is made in San Francisco.
No company type, registration number or governing-law clause appears in its Terms. Gemini says Plixi was "formerly known as Growthsilo", which we could not confirm.
An unnamed company with no governing-law clause leaves you few options in a dispute, so prefer card payments.
The best Plixi alternatives are Kicksta for visible targeting, Upleap for a free trial, Path Social for written refunds, and Buzzoid or Twicsy for no subscription.
Each sells Instagram growth, so the same platform rules apply. Our Buzzoid review covers the most common no-subscription option.
Avoid Growthoid: its site now redirects to SidesMedia and can no longer be bought.
Plixi and Path Social charge the same $29 and $41 yearly prices, but Path Social writes its 7-day refund into its Terms, while Plixi's Terms have no refund clause.
The two pricing pages share per-day lines, guarantee wording and a 50% annual sale banner. No document shows common ownership, and Plixi runs a page criticising Path Social.
If you must pick one, the written refund terms make Path Social the slightly safer test.
Plixi is rarely worth it: yearly plans cost $348 to $720 up front for follower estimates it cannot show are real, with no refund clause in its Terms.
A single month of Pro, judged in the first week, limits the downside. Otherwise, put the money into ads or creator collabs, and measure results with our Instagram engagement rate calculator.
Spend the money on growth you can measure, such as a small Instagram ad test.
