What is Finden?
Finden is an AI services company that co-builds and co-markets AI products with partner businesses, starting each project from its own modular platform. It began as an AI workspace for searching files, email and chats across accounts, launched on Product Hunt in August 2025.
The current official site centres on services rather than an app. Its offer covers strategy and advisory work, product co-creation, data engineering, design and go-to-market support. Each project starts from a shared platform of modules, including agentic search, agent workflows, a knowledge graph and a model gateway, which Finden then shapes around the client’s data and processes.
Finden says it has nine years of experience shipping production AI, more than ten enterprise clients and over seven products live in production across five industries, figures we could not verify. The original 2025 workspace now appears in its portfolio as a finance dashboard. Readers who remember the self-serve app should treat today’s Finden as a build partner, not a subscription tool.
Key Features
Cited search and approval-gated agents are the core of Finden’s platform, because they let a client trust answers and keep people in charge of actions.
- Agentic search: Finden’s search module answers questions by pulling from many connected sources at once and showing citations for each claim. Staff can open the cited file, email or message to confirm an answer, which matters when the output feeds a client report or a finance decision.
- Agent workflows: Multi-step agents can carry out a sequence of tasks and then stop at set points for a person to approve the next action. This human checkpoint keeps sensitive steps, such as sending an email or changing a record, under staff control.
- Knowledge graph: The platform links people, documents, accounts and other entities into a graph that agents can query for context. An agent asked about a supplier can therefore see related contracts and threads rather than a single isolated file.
- Processing pipelines: Incoming documents are processed as they arrive instead of in occasional batch jobs. New invoices, reports or emails become searchable and usable by agents soon after they land in a connected drive or inbox.
- Model gateway: A central gateway routes requests to Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Mistral or open-weight models. Finden says the gateway applies guardrails and usage controls per client, so one provider can be swapped for another without a rebuild.
- Co-distribution: Finden’s work continues after launch with go-to-market strategy, SEO and generative engine optimisation, growth automation and distribution analytics. This is unusual for a build partner, and it suits companies that plan to sell the AI product to their own customers rather than only use it internally.
Pros
Deployment inside the client’s own cloud tenant is Finden’s strongest selling point, since sensitive data never has to move into a shared third-party service.
- Data stays in your cloud: Finden deploys into the client’s own cloud tenant rather than a shared service. Role-based access, audit logs, PII redaction and customer-managed encryption are listed, which helps security teams approve the project.
- Head start on the build: Projects begin on a platform Finden describes as about 60 per cent complete. That reuse is how it aims to ship a minimum viable product in 8 to 12 weeks, with about four more weeks of production hardening.
- Freedom to change models: Support for Claude, GPT, Gemini, Mistral and open-weight models reduces dependence on one vendor. A client can move to a cheaper or stronger model later as prices and quality change.
- Broad connector list: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, SharePoint, Notion, Gmail, Outlook, Slack and WhatsApp are all named connectors. Most firms can therefore link their main stores of knowledge without writing custom code first.
- One partner for every stage: Strategy, data work, design, engineering and go-to-market sit with a single team. Mid-sized firms avoid coordinating separate consultants, agencies and developers, and one team keeps context from planning through launch.
Cons
Opacity is the weak spot: Finden publishes no prices, no sign-up and no independent proof of its client claims.
- No self-serve access: There is no public sign-up, free tier or demo account on the current site. Anyone wanting to try Finden has to email the team and go through a scoping conversation first.
- Prices are private: Every engagement is quoted individually, so budgets cannot be compared before a call. Ask for a fixed-fee pilot with clear deliverables to limit early spend.
- Original app has faded: The 2025 workspace for searching files and email now appears only as a portfolio project. Individuals who found Finden through older directory listings may not get the product those pages describe.
- Self-reported track record: Claims of nine years of production AI work and more than ten enterprise clients could not be checked independently. Ask for named references and case studies before signing.
- No visible certification: We found no third-party security certification, such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001, on the pages we read. Regulated firms should request security documentation and a data processing agreement early.
Who is Using Finden?
Mid-sized companies wanting a custom AI product without hiring a full AI team are Finden’s main audience, with finance, travel and retail named most often.
- Mid-sized companies: Firms without an in-house AI team use Finden to plan and build a first AI product. The shared platform shortens the path from idea to a working system.
- Finance operators: Finance teams are the clearest fit shown in the portfolio, where the former workspace became a finance dashboard. It combines bank and accounting data into one searchable view.
- Travel and retail brands: Finden names travel and retail among its focus sectors, alongside telecoms and DevOps. Its portfolio lists the Costar Travel booking platform and a 2019 voice assistant for retailer Majid Al Futtaim.
- Product leaders: Managers with an AI product idea use Finden to test it before funding a full team. Strategy work starts with a six-week exploration sprint, and co-distribution later helps bring the product to market.
Pricing
Finden quotes every engagement privately, with no public price list or self-serve plan (official site, October 2026).
| Plan | Price | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Strategy and advisory | Contact for pricing | Six-week sprints and board-level roadmaps |
| Product co-creation | Contact for pricing | Working build in roughly 8 to 12 weeks |
| Co-distribution | Contact for pricing | SEO and growth support after launch |
| Finden.me workspace | Not listed | Older listings mention a free tier and trial |
Some directories still describe a 30-day free trial and low-cost paid tiers for the 2025 workspace, and Futurepedia’s June 2026 listing reports a free trial with prices still to be announced, but the current site shows neither. Its homepage links to saas.finden.me, which returned a not-found error when we tried it.
Disclaimer: Fees for consulting-style AI builds vary with scope and data work, so get a written quote and milestone plan before committing budget.
What Makes Finden Unique?
A shared revenue path sets Finden apart: it builds the product with you and then helps market it, instead of charging per seat for a finished app. Few AI vendors combine an agency, a reusable platform and a growth partner in one contract.
The platform-first approach also matters. Starting from modules that are reportedly about 60 per cent done should cut build time compared with a blank-page agency project, while the client still owns a system running in its own cloud account.
Compatibilities and Integrations
Finden connects to the common drives, inboxes and chat apps most firms already use, and runs on the major cloud and data platforms.
- Data sources: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, SharePoint and Notion connect as document stores for search and agents.
- Communication: Gmail, Outlook, Slack and WhatsApp feed messages and threads into the knowledge base.
- Infrastructure: Deployments run on Azure or AWS, with Snowflake and Databricks listed for data platforms and LangGraph named for agent orchestration.
- Custom systems: Custom REST APIs can be linked, so internal tools and line-of-business systems can join the graph.
Finden Tutorials
Starting with Finden means scoping a project with its team, since there is no app to download.
- List your two or three most time-consuming workflows and the data each one depends on.
- Email [email protected] or use the homepage form with that list and a rough budget range, and expect a reply within the stated 48 hours.
- Agree scope, success measures, security requirements and a written timeline.
- Connect a limited set of data sources and review the first working build within the first few weeks.
- Test it with real users, record accuracy issues and agree fixes before any wider rollout.
- Decide on production deployment and whether to use Finden’s co-distribution support after launch.
How We Rated It
Finden scores 3.7 out of 5, held back by hidden pricing and unverified results despite strong flexibility and data control.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Accuracy and Reliability | 3.6/5 | Few public results yet |
| Ease of Use | 3.4/5 | Sales call before access |
| Functionality and Features | 4.0/5 | Eight modules, many services |
| Performance and Speed | 3.6/5 | Claims unproven publicly |
| Customization and Flexibility | 4.3/5 | Built around your workflow |
| Data Privacy and Security | 4.2/5 | Runs in your tenant |
| Support and Resources | 3.3/5 | Thin public documentation |
| Cost-Efficiency | 3.0/5 | No published prices |
| Integration Capabilities | 4.1/5 | Drives, mail, chat, APIs |
| Overall Score | 3.7/5 | Average of the nine criteria |
Summary
Finden suits mid-sized companies that want a partner to build, and possibly sell, an AI product on their own data. Its tenant-based deployment, wide connector list and choice of models are real strengths for security-conscious teams. The main limitation is opacity, because prices, timelines and client results are not published or independently checked. Anyone looking for the 2025 self-serve workspace should confirm with the team that it is still offered. For a new project, ask for a fixed-fee pilot with named references before signing a larger contract.
