What is Jinna.ai?
Jinna.ai is an AI assistant that handles the billing paperwork of a one-person business. You describe a job by typing or speaking, and it drafts an invoice, estimate or proposal with a Stripe payment link attached.
After sending, the tool keeps working in the background. It records when a client opens a document and chases overdue invoices with reminder emails written in a casual, medium or firm tone. On the Plus plan, a company memory learns your clients, services and usual rates, so later requests need fewer details.
The site names Jinna.ai LTD, company number 16493360, as the operator, lists OnStage VC, Google’s startup programme and Product Hunt as backers, and reports more than 1,200 US solopreneurs as users. Toolify places the company in London and gives a launch date of 23 September 2025. Jinna launched on Product Hunt in 2025, describing itself as an AI agent that creates, sends and chases invoices. Drafting is reported to run on OpenAI models, and sign-ups were open when we visited in October 2026.
Key Features
Sentence-based invoicing and automatic chasing do the heavy lifting, since together they cover the slowest parts of getting paid as a freelancer.
- Conversational invoicing: You type or say what you did, for whom and for how much, and Jinna drafts the invoice. This removes form filling, so a finished job can be billed from a phone within moments of wrapping up.
- Estimates and proposals: Quotes and pitches are built from the same client details as invoices. An accepted estimate converts to an invoice in one click, and shared proposal links show how clients engage with them.
- Payment links: Every invoice can carry a Stripe link so clients pay by card straight from the email. You need your own Stripe account, and Stripe’s usual card fees apply to each payment.
- Automatic reminders: Overdue invoices receive follow-up emails in a casual, medium or firm tone that you choose. Plus users get fully automatic chasing, so late payers are reminded without you drafting anything.
- Company memory: The Plus plan learns your services, rates and regular clients over time. Later requests can then be shorter, because Jinna fills in details it has already seen on earlier documents.
- Branded templates and tracking: You can add a logo, background and signature to documents. Jinna also shows when a client has viewed an invoice, which tells you whether a silence means unread or ignored.
Pros
Speed of billing is the draw: a spoken sentence becomes a sendable invoice with a payment link, which suits freelancers who put off admin.
- Quick setup: The site promises a two-minute start and asks for no payment card at sign-up. You can test the full flow on a real client before deciding whether it earns a place.
- Usable free plan: Four invoices a month are included at no cost, with Stripe links, AI emails, PDF downloads, view tracking and client management. That covers many part-time freelancers, though documents carry Jinna branding.
- Less chasing: Reminder emails go out on their own once an invoice passes its due date. Freelancers who dislike awkward money conversations gain the most from this.
- Natural input: Voice and chat requests suit people who find invoice forms tedious. Consultants and other mobile workers can raise a bill between appointments without opening a laptop or learning menus.
- Low promotional rate: Plus showed a $4.79 monthly promotion against its $29.99 list price in October 2026. If that rate holds for you, unlimited documents cost less than most invoicing subscriptions.
Cons
Scope is the catch with Jinna.ai, because it covers invoicing and payment chasing but leaves expenses, payroll and tax to other software.
- Narrow scope: It is not full bookkeeping or accounting software. You will still need Xero, Wave or an accountant for expenses, bank reconciliation, payroll and year-end tax returns.
- Unclear pricing: Two Plus prices and two trial lengths of 10 and 30 days appeared on the site in October 2026. Confirm the actual charge at checkout and note when any promotion ends.
- Few integrations: Stripe and Xero are the only integrations we could confirm. QuickBooks users, or anyone wanting PayPal or bank transfer links on invoices, may find gaps in their workflow.
- Little security detail: We found no published security certifications or detailed data-handling statement. Invoices hold client names and amounts, so review the privacy policy before uploading a large client list.
- Thin help resources: Support material is limited to a short FAQ and the product pages. Users who hit unusual tax or currency cases may need to contact the team directly.
Who is Using Jinna.ai?
Solo service providers in the US are the stated audience, with the site reporting more than 1,200 such users.
- Freelancers: Designers, writers and developers use it to bill clients quickly after each project. Payment links and reminders shorten the wait for money.
- Consultants and coaches: Advisers send proposals and recurring retainer invoices from short requests. The company memory saves retyping their standard packages.
- Small service firms: Owners without an admin assistant use it for quotes and follow-ups. It acts as a light back office rather than a full finance team.
- US solopreneurs: This is the group the site says it serves, numbering more than 1,200. The free tier and Stripe links suit those billing only a handful of clients each month.

What Makes Jinna.ai Unique?
Jinna starts from a sentence rather than a form. You name a client and a job, and it builds the invoice, attaches a payment link and later sends follow-ups itself.
That makes it feel closer to a part-time billing assistant than to accounting software. It covers far less ground than QuickBooks or FreshBooks, but for a freelancer whose main pain is sending and chasing invoices, the narrow focus keeps it simple. The company claims users get paid up to three times faster and save more than ten hours a week, figures we could not check independently.
Compatibilities and Integrations
Jinna.ai runs in a web browser and connects to Stripe for payments and Xero for accounting.
- Platform: It is a web app that works in desktop and mobile browsers. We found no dedicated iPhone or Android app listing.
- Payments: Stripe payment links are attached to invoices, using your own Stripe account.
- Accounting: Xero integration is included on the Plus plan, so invoices can flow into your books.
- Email and AI: Gmail sending is reported by directories, and OpenAI models are reported to power the drafting.

How We Rated It
Jinna.ai scores 3.7 out of 5: ease of use is excellent, but sparse security information and a narrow feature set pull the average down.
| Criterion | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Accuracy and Reliability | 3.7/5 | Drafts need a quick check |
| Ease of Use | 4.3/5 | Plain-language input |
| Functionality and Features | 3.6/5 | Invoicing focus only |
| Performance and Speed | 3.9/5 | Fast document drafts |
| Customization and Flexibility | 3.7/5 | Templates and tones |
| Data Privacy and Security | 3.2/5 | Few published safeguards |
| Support and Resources | 3.3/5 | Thin help resources |
| Cost-Efficiency | 4.0/5 | Free tier, low promotion |
| Integration Capabilities | 3.4/5 | Stripe and Xero |
| Overall Score | 3.7/5 | Average of the nine criteria |
Summary
Jinna.ai is a good fit for freelancers and solo consultants who want invoicing and payment chasing handled with very little effort. Its voice and chat input make billing quick, and the free plan is enough for light use. Its main limitation is scope, since it is not accounting software and links only to Stripe and Xero. Try the free plan on a real client first, and confirm the Plus price at checkout before subscribing.
